Appeal for witnesses following stabbing in Woking

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious assault on Walton Road in Woking early this morning (24 April).

At around 00.50am a man in his 20s was involved in an incident that resulted in him suffering a stab wound.

The victim has serious injuries and has been taken to hospital for treatment.

A section of Walton Road up to Omega Road remains closed to pedestrians.

Detective Inspector Jak Bowers said: “This is a serious incident and our enquiries are continuing to establish what exactly occurred. I would ask any members of the community with information relating to the incident in the early hours of this morning to please get in touch.”
