Are you a witness to the Cobham Services Murder

Exactly one month after 20-year-old Quehy Saunders was murdered at the petrol station at Cobham Services, Surrey Police is releasing CCTV images of witnesses that they are keen to speak to as part of the investigation.

The CCTV images show four people who made purchases within the store between 3 and 3.30pm on Monday 26 June. Officers are also keen to trace the driver of a distinctive green Model A Ford that was on the petrol station forecourt and, despite extensive enquiries with owners clubs and local classic car events, has yet to be identified.

Senior investigating officer Detective Chief Inspector Jo Hayes said:
“Exactly one month ago today, a young man was brutally attacked at the petrol station at Cobham Services. We have charged two people with Quehy’s murder, but still need to speak to these five witnesses to understand the circumstances of his murder.
“I want to be clear that the people we are trying to locate are not under suspicion, but may have seen or heard something that could help our investigation. Cobham services is on one of the busiest roads in the UK – so these people could be from anywhere in the country. If you are one of these people, or you know who they are, I urge you to get in touch.”
