Fire crews battle to save Surrey property after roof fire

Surrey Fire and Rescue are currently attending to a roof fire in Egham. 
There are currently 8 fire engines, 2 water carriers and 6 ladders in use at the property in Green Road in Egham. Crews are battling to stop the blaze that is belived to have started in the roof from spreading to other parts of the Scandinavia wooden property worth over a million pounds.

The fire service received the call just after 11.20 on Wednesday evening. The couple who own the property were safely evacuated from the house they are now being care for by Red cross fire and emergency support service
Crews are likely to remain at the property damping down and carrying out inspections overnight
