Police appeal for witnesses following fatal collision in Bagshot

Surrey Police have confirmed that a man has sadly died following a collision on Bagshot High Street (B3029)

The collision, involving a black Volvo V60 happened at around On 23rd April around 1.45pm outside the Cedar Tree Public House.

The driver of the Volvo, a man in his 80s, was sadly pronounced dead at the scene shortly after the collision.

Police have informed the man’s next of kin and our thoughts remain with them at this time.

Bagshot High Street was closed for a short time whilst officers investigated the incident and reopened at 5pm. 

It is believed that a number of people who witnessed the collision stopped to help the victim and performed first aid. If this was you, please contact Police as you may have valuable information which could help with their investigation.
